Direct Drives

In the case of direct drives and in contrast to conventional motors, electrical unit and machine are directly linked to each other. The motor is designed in a way that it complies with the required driving speed of the machine. Therefore a further transmission (e.g. gear box) is not needed.

FGB drives are characterised by high stiffness, maximum power density and remarkable dynamics. The motors are suitable for the most varied applications, e.g. fast and accurate positioning or stressing of components with high loads/torques.
