Chassis

The chassis is in charge of transmitting the power with minimal slip. The term chassis refers to all moving components of a vehicle, which ensure the contact to the driving surface. This includes wheels, wheel suspension, spring system, shock absorber, steering system and wheel brake. Compared to road vehicles the chassis construction of aircrafts and trains is different.

Due to plenty of projects FGB is quite familiar with design and implementation of machines that are used for production and testing of chassis components. The information provided on the left gives a brief overview about those applications.
